Communication Therapies is a team of NYS licensed therapists and certified educators who provide services across Long Island for children with developmental needs. Speech and Feeding Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Educational services, and Nutrition Counseling are offered in both individual and/or group settings in a highly supportive and caring environment.
We are an approved NYS provider of Early Intervention* Services for children from birth to three years. In addition, we collaborate with local school districts to provide Related Therapy Services for Preschoolers from ages three to five. Our dedicated professionals work closely with parents to help children reach their milestones. Whether you have concerns with your child's speech or feeding development, motor skills or play, we can help you to help them. |

*The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a public program for children under the age of three who are either suspected of having or at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. Potentially eligible children must be referred to the Municipal County Program (Nassau County 516-227-8661, Suffolk County 631-853-2300) to receive EIP services. The EIP is funded by New York State and County Governments. All EIP services are provided at no cost to parents. Health Insurance may be used for approved services. A child's eligibility for the program can be determined only by state approved providers and all services must be authorized by the County Municipality. Communication Therapies and Rehab is an approved provider of Early Intervention Services. If your child is eligible for EIP services the Municipality will arrange for services to be provided by an NYS approved provider. Services that are not approved by or provided through the NYS EIP are available for private pay, which is the responsibility of the family.
