THERAPY SERVICES
Speech and Language Therapy addresses delays in language development and speech skills. Our office specializes in feeding and motor speech delays and have PROMPT trained therapists available.
Education Services are provided on an individual basis and in groups. Special instruction can help your child improve attention, learn and problem-solve through play and expand their cognitive skills. Physical therapy can help a child with motor delays to improve their motor skills so they can explore their environment and improve strength and stability. Occupational therapy can address delays in areas of self-help and adaptive skills, which include activities of daily living. Therapists work on fine motor/ coordination skills as well as sensory-motor issues. |
Nutritionists work closely with families to make dietary suggestions. They often work collaboratively with a feeding therapist.
Feeding Therapy Groups incorporate activities to encourage exploration of foods and textures and provide for sensory activities for the "picky eater" as well as the problem feeder! Parent-Child Groups promote social and language skills outside of the home. Children learn to interact, play appropriately, and transition within a structured setting. We participate in the NYS Early Intervention Program as an approved Evaluator and Provider of Services for children from birth to 3 years of age. For children aged three to five we are contracted through the municipality for related therapy services. For services outside of these programs, we accept in network insurance and offer services for private pay. Contact us for inquiries |
